When to go — and when to book
The Antarctica cruise season runs from November to March, during the southern summer. Early season (Nov–Dec) brings pristine ice and courting penguins; mid-season (Dec–Jan) has the warmest weather and penguin chicks; late season (Feb–Mar) is best for whale watching.
