Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Melbourne - Hobart

Arrival in Melbourne Airport (own transfer to the domestic terminal), take a domestic flight to Hobart. Arrival in Hobart Airport (no meet & greet), transfer to Hobart hotel. Free at your own leisure.

Day 2 Hobart - Port Arthur & Tasmania Devils

Proceed to Port Arthur day tour with return SIC transfer. Begin early from Hobart to the stunning Tasman Peninsula, known for dramatic sea cliffs, rich history, and scenic views from Pirates Bay Lookout. Walk the Waterfall Bay Clifftop Track to see Tasman Arch and Devil’s Kitchen. Visit the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo to witness a devil feeding and interact with native wildlife. Explore the Port Arthur Historic Site with a harbour cruise, discover the penitentiary, solitary cells, and haunting convict history. On the return journey, stop in Richmond to stroll the charming streets and see Australia’s oldest convict-built bridge.

Day 3 Hobart to Launceston Via Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park

Check-out and depart Hobart and journey up Tasmania’s scenic east coast through Orford and Swansea to Freycinet National Park, known for its pink granite mountains, white sandy beaches, and pristine bays. Hike to the famous Wineglass Bay Lookout. Alternatively, explore sites like Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay, and Cape Tourville with your guide. On the return, stop at Devil’s Corner Winery to enjoy the views, optional wine tasting, wood-fired pizza, seafood, and ice cream before continuing to Launceston, arriving in Launceston around 6pm.

Day 4 Launceston - Cradle Mountain National Park

After breakfast, proceed to Cradle Mountain National Park with return SIC transfer. Explore the stunning Cradle Mountain National Park with around 5 hours to enjoy various walking trails, tailored to weather and group preferences. Departing Launceston, stop in the charming mural town of Sheffield before heading into the World Heritage-listed wilderness. Begin with the scenic Enchanted Walk, then choose between the easy Dove Lake Circuit or the more challenging hike to Marion’s Lookout for panoramic views. Along the way, spot local wildlife like wombats, and visit Weindorfer’s Chalet and ancient King Billy Pines. Enjoy a sweet treat at Van Dieman’s Land Ice Creamery and Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm before return.

After breakfast and check-out, free at your own leisure till transfer to Launceston Airport for your domestic flight to Melbourne. Arrival in Melbourne Airport, transfer to CBD hotel. Free at your own leisure.

Day 6 Melbourne - Great Ocean Road Coastal

Breakfast at a hotel, proceed to Basic Great Ocean Road full day tour on SIC basis with return transfers. Exploring the coastline features but also seeing firsthand koalas and birds in their natural habitat as well as a guided forest walk where you will see some of the tallest trees in the world. Morning tea included. All of this on top of the iconic favorites such as the Torquay Surf Beach, Loch Ard Gorge, Guided Forest Walk, 12 Apostles and Gibson Steps with plenty of photo stops along the way. Apollo Bay for lunch stop at your own expense.

Day 7 Melbourne - Philip Island Wildlife & Beach Boxes

Breakfast at hotel, proceed to the Phillip Island Wildlife & Beach Boxes on SIC basis with return transfers. Explore the famous Brighton Beach Boxes and Phillip Island plus stop at a wildlife park where you can get up close to native animals such as koalas and kangaroos and others, in this full-day tour. visit both bays that Victoria has to offer as well as exploring the coastal and animal beauties of the Phillip Island region.

Day 8 Melbourne - Puffing Billy & Healesville Sanctuary & Chocolaterie

Breakfast at hotel, proceed to the Puffing Billy on SIC basis with return transfers. Ride the world-famous Puffing Billy steam train ride through the glorious Dandenong Ranges; enjoy a leisurely walk around the picturesque Emerald Lake. Visit the world- renowned Healesville Sanctuary and try chocolates at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie.
